President’s Message

NOTE: Effective March 20th, 2020 All meetings fundraisers and social events are suspended  until further notice due to the COVID19 Epidemic

July 1st. has come and gone. I have moved into the position of President of the Regina Beach and District Lions Club. Time just seems to be flying by. It is already November and I am just now writing my President’s Message for our website.

We have had our Dedication Service for our Memorial Forest. This takes place every year in Regina Beach to honour those who have passed away over the past year. The Memorial Forest is not only for Lions members who have passed on, but anyone in the area or western Canada who would like to honour someone with a tree in their memory. Contact any Lions member if you would like information on this.

Next came our Pit Beef Dinner,  Fowl Supper and our Oktoberfest which was a first for us. Our next project is Chase the Ace which began October 30th and will continue every Wednesday at The Waterfront  Bar on “wing night” until the Ace is pulled. Hope to see you all there for this exciting new event. We have decided to start the Meat Draws again. The first one will be November 20 and will happen every  second Wednesday along with Chase the Ace.

Please come out and support our events. Helping us helps the many groups that we support in the community.
